The Western team rides at a private barn in Findlay, Ohio, which is run and owned by  Katie Morehead. Katie Morehead is a graduate from The University of Findlay with a masters degree in education. Katie grew up competing on the AQHA circuit in the all around events. Claiming titles such as Reserve Congress Champion, OQHA Youth All Around, and Regional Champion. While in college, she competed on the National Champion IHSA Team. During that time she won 3 IHSA National Championships, Including the AQHA High Point Rider in the Nation. Katie was awarded U of Fs Female Athlete of the Year for the 2009 season. Upon graduation Katie started her own business KM Performance Horses. She coaches a high school and middle school IEA team as well as BGSU Western Equestrian Team. She has coached riders to over 40+ National Titles and captured 4 Team National Championships in the last five years.



The English team resides at Oxford Farm in Swanton, Ohio. The head trainer, Leslie (Webb) Janiak has had over 20 years of experience in the hunter and jumper divisions with Championships at top AA shows. She has trained with several top riders and trainers in the country and was employed by George Morris at Hunterdon Inc. as rider, picking up vast amounts of knowledge and experience. Alongside being employed by George Morris, Leslie aided schooling top horses and top riders along with Chris Kappler and Jeff Cook. From there, she went to ride for Chris’ sister, Katie Kappler at Kappler Farms. Since then Leslie has shown horses throughout the country from Chicago to Wellington Florida. She shares her knowledge and experience with riders at all levels for all ages.
